Any electrical work undertaken that involves adding a new circuit to a dwelling, or electrical works carried out in Kitchens, Bathrooms, Shower Rooms or categorised as “Special Locations” needs to be carried out by a competent person who is registered with a Part P Self-Certification Scheme.
